All for thirty bucks.
In short, we believe you deserve a faster, less expensive way to practice bar exam essays.
How do we grade essays so quickly and cheaply?
Magic. And technology. Mostly technology.
We had lawyers help us build grading rubrics for licensed MEE essay questions from NCBE. Then we programmed this expert knowledge into a rather amazing piece of technology called SAGrader.
SAGrader[?]SAGrader is an automated essay grader that assesses the actual content of student writing. It's been used with great success at major universities for years. uses some pretty cool language understanding strategies (this is where the magic comes in) to see what you wrote, understand it and compare it to what should be there.
The end result? You get expert advice from actual lawyers delivered quickly to your computer screen without having to change out of your sweatpants.
What does the feedback look like?
The feedback tells you very specifically what points you correctly identified and what you missed.
Based on the instructional feedback, you can revise your response and submit again.
Here are some actual screenshots of the feedback:

How do we manage to be so much more awesome and handsome than other programs?
That's a common question. Let's look at the numbers:
| Service | # of graded essays/prompts | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| MicroMash | 8/8 | $995 (NY) |
| BarBRI | Max 12/24 | $1295 (NV) |
| BEP | 90/30 | $30 (anywhere) |
The best way to practice for essays on the bar exam is to write a billion essays. We help you do that efficiently without going bankrupt.

Will this work for your state?
So there are 21 jurisdictions that use the MEE (multistate essay exam). Perfect! Most of our essay questions are from past MEE’s.
If you're not in a jurisdiction that uses the MEE, many of your essay topics will be the same as the MEE. Honestly. Worst case scenario, you can only use half of our essay questions, which we think is still pretty good practice.
Bottom line: we created BEP for students in every jurisdiction.
